Road to Recovery Gas Card Program

Supporting your Journey, Every Mile of the Way  

When navigating the intricate path of heart transplant care, we know that the journey is filled with hospital visits, follow-up appointments, and essential lab tests-all of which often involve frequent travel back and forth. The Road to Recovery Gas Card Program, established in 2019, is designed to alleviate the financial strains that accompany the cost of fuel expenses during transplant care. Please note that while this program does not aim to cover all fuel costs, its purpose is to provide a valuable offset to these financial expenses.

Gas Card Regulations:  

We are enhancing our program by introducing VISA gas cards. Gas cards can be redeemed exclusively at gas stations such as Shell and BP.  To use the cards, please ensure that purchases are made inside the gas station, rather than at the pump. Gas cards will be mailed to qualified families 2-3 weeks AFTER the application deadline by a third-party vendor.
