ENDURING HEARTS New executive director named for Marietta nonprofit.

Marietta-based nonprofit Enduring Hearts, an organization dedicated to raising funds for pediatric heart transplant research, named Carolyn Salvador as its new executive director.

Salvador, a veteran leader in Georgia’s nonprofit community, succeeds Ankur Chatterjee, a private equity/venture investor and member of the Enduring Hearts’ Board of Directors. Chatterjee held the post for the past two and a half years and will continue to serve as president of the Board.

For the past seven years Salvador has served as executive director of the Georgia Child Care Association. There she has created, led and executed strategic advocacy objectives as the voice for Georgia’s early education industry at the legislative and regulatory levels. She also drove organizational growth through the development of new income streams, increases in membership and improved donor participation.
